Width and length almost same.Large size flowers occur in varied colours - pink, white, magenta, lavender.Sepals are fused, appearing as single large sepal forming a bud. 5 slender petals, with very bright innermost petal and 3 stamen, distinctive feature from B variegata.Long flat pods appear in plenty all over the tree.
